This is a personal piece--it wasn't for homework, just something for me,
myself, and I. I just wanted to experiment with shape and
simplification and...stuff. There is definitely a whole lot of Secret of Kells
influence going on here as well, though the designs are completely mine.
I'm not sure if I'm totally done with it, I'm thinking about incorporating some textures. I may leave it alone for
awhile so I can come back with fresh eyes.

Now that I see it up close it doesn't look creepy.
Well, you did see it before I put the leaves on, so maybe it looked kinda halloweeny then.
It does look balanced, andit has nice colors, and I love the shapes and style...but DEER destroy my garden, so I have a hard time liking the deer part of it!

I'm actually thinking of making this a series, of 4 different types of animals that are seen in my backyard at home, one fore each season. I was thinking of doing quail, foxes, and... something else.
